What clubs, sports or experiences were you involved in during college?

Some of the best advice I received when coming to college was to get involved in clubs and groups that peaked my interests. I tried out alot of clubs and organizations including Student Government, a Pre-Law Fraternity, Intramural Sports Teams, and Christian groups. My exploration taught me alot about myself and how I interact with the world.

Why should students in the Appalachian region consider going to college?

College is one of the best opportunities in life to explore yourself and the world around you. The growth not only translates to better career opportunites but also to a more enriched life.

What is one piece of advice you might be able to offer a middle or high school student?

Try new things and get out of your comfort zone! You may just find something or someone that changes the direction of your life.
